It's been 25 years since Harvard published my book Mother Father Deaf. This year also marks the 25th Anniversary of Mother Father Deaf Day, which is celebrated on the last Sunday in April throughout the world by those with Deaf parents as well as Deaf parents themselves. In commemoration of this anniversary, the International CODA organization (Children of Deaf Parents) has created a series of videos marking the occasion. You can see these short videos including one of me talking about my book at:

Today is a bittersweet day since I just received a photo of my parents' newly installed gravestone in Joliet, Illinois where I was born. Because of the pandemic and my own health issues, I haven't been able to travel to their grave. But, I have fond memories of them and they are always in my heart.
